The Creative Genius

Want a wedding dress made completely of rose petals? Or a bouquet made of gourmet gumballs? I absolutely love unique and creative styles, being able to meld traditional designs while doing something different--that’s why I started Enlighten Events.

I got started as the Events Coordinator at the College of Charleston and later worked with Soiree and Gathering. I moved to Las Vegas to join the Four Seasons floral & event team and later moved up to be Special Events Coordinator & Designer for Destinations by Design, the leading Las Vegas events management company. This was an amazing experience that ranged from exclusive Vegas & Tahoe resort weddings to wild celebrity parties and phenomenal corporate branding events. Along the way, I picked up a welding certificate from Trident Technical College, a master floral design class in Paris and a Masters degree in Hospitality Management from UNLV.

Is it possible to be a detail-oriented people person? If so, that’s me. I specialize in the boring but essential parts of the business that aren’t fun but keep things flowing smoothly. I got started in events management when I met my wife, and now I know things about ranunculus, dahlias, and swagging that no guy ever thought he’d know. I never thought it could be this much fun.

I’m known to travel with anything and everything you might need to survive in life or in weddings. As day-of coordinator, I manage all of the logistics and keep an eye on the tiny details, so that you can enjoy the important stuff – like marrying the love of your life.

The Jack of All Trades

You may see me setting up lighting, directing the set up, rounding up groomsmen, or photographing behind the scenes. I am the miter saw of events staff. Actually, my real passions are music, photography, and volunteering with animal rescue shelters…and weddings. I love weddings.
